Setting & location

Despite it’s fairly remote location, it is extremely popular because of its beautiful natural setting. This is one of the better beaches within reach of the resort of Cala d’Or and as Cala Mondrago is quite small it can get very crowded during the holiday period. It measures 75 metres in length and is around 60 metres deep.

Water safety & clarity

The beach slopes gently down into the clear blue seas. The shallowness of the sea makes it very good for small children. There are ramps for the disabled and lifeguards are on duty.

What is there to do?

Behind the beach lies protected wetlands and the nature park has a number of walking trails running through it, from short 1km walks to 8-10km hikes. The whole area is also very popular with private boats and you will see plenty of them moored in the bays. Snorkelling is a popular activity here thanks to the clarity of the sea.
