The buildings and gardens that form the estate of Alfàbia are located in the outskirts of Bunyola. A visit to the manor, owned by the Zaforteza family, allows one to appreciate the different rooms that made up a typical twelfth century manor house and to walk in some of the most remarkable gardens in Mallorca.
The gardens reflect the influence of Arabic, Italian and English styles with one common component; the interplay with water in waterfalls, fountains, canals and ponds.Elisabeth II chose Alfàbia on one occasion for a brief stay in Mallorca.
Visiting hours 1 April to 31 October: Monday-Saturday, 9.30am-6.30pm.
1 to 30 November and 1 January to 31 March: Monday-Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm. Saturdays, 9.30am-1pm.
Closed: Sundays and 1 to 31 December.
