Mallorca’s olive oil route
Mallorca’s Olive Oil route is a perfect gastronomic tour. When it comes to olive trees, the press, the mills and of course, Mallorca’s oil, there are plenty of activities, places to eat and rest, shops to sample and buy the product, as well as architectural heritage, land and beautiful sceneries. The route includes a walk through the Serra de Tramuntana, close to Sóller.
Mallorca’s olive oil route
Towns: Es Verger – Deià – Port de Sóller – Sóller
To capture the value of Mallorca’s oil, there can be nothing better than walking through the island’s olive groves. This walk starts at the finca Cas Avinyons, half way along the road that joins Sóller with Deià.
At Es Racó des Teix, nestled at the foot of the mountain that is its namesake, we can experience one of the best gastronomical experiences on the island. Michelin star chef, Josef Sauerschell, serves up Mediterranean dishes with a modern flare.
After lunch it’s time to visit an olive press. These companies that produce Majorcan Oil allow you to learn about how oil is made here in Mallorca.
In Esporles, near Valldemosa, we find the Es Verger press, here they produce an ecological oil using olives from old Majorcan trees, as well as newly planted “arbequina” olives.
The Finca de Muleta is right in the Soller mountains, offering an amazing view of the port. This old possession, now converted into an agro tourism hotel, preserves its original press, surrounding the hotel are activities related to olive collection and oil production.

An unforgettable route through Sóller, Valldemossa and Fornalutx
The most unknown Mallorca: an unforgettable route through Sóller, Valldemossa and Fornalutx
You will never forget our excursion, Not us to you. Have fun with BesttransfersMallorca A The wonderful Sierra de la Tramuntana hosts these three beautiful Mallorcan villages
Our last stop takes us to this enclave known for its steep streets, a rustic environment that makes this mountain town the golden pin to a wonderful holiday in Mallorca. The best way to enjoy Fornalutx is to hurry through its streets, starting from the true nerve center of the town, the Plaza de España, full of cafes and shops.
They are the main tourist attraction of the town, together with the Monastery of the Real Cartuja and the hermitage of the Holy Trinity.
The gastronomy of Valldemossa deserves a separate mention and we can discover it in a charming corner of the old town, which is not a restaurant to use.
